Offa Volleyball Club, sponsored by Marble Capital, has secured its second national premier league championship title. The thrilling victory took place at the Indoor Sports Hall of the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja, where they triumphed against the strong Nigeria Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) on Saturday 25 th of September 2023.
Under the strategic guidance of Head Coach Suleiman ‘Olayinka Bidemi Ajeigbe, popularly known by his Alias Coach SOBA, the Offa Volleyball Club maintained a domineering position in the national league, triumphing in all local and national competitions over the past two years. Their journey to success in the league commenced with an impressive winning streak during the first phase of the Premier League earlier this year in Abuja. The team then continued their dominance by conquering the Legacy Premier League hosted in Lagos, ultimately securing the second phase of the championship against NSCDC with a resounding 3-1 victory (25-18, 22-25, 25-19, 25-17).
